This life has a lot of beauty. At the same time it’s full of certain personality types that we need to be aware of. Especially those of us who have a high level of empathy. My passion is to teach others how to spot red flags of narcissism and psychopathy in everyday life. Knowing when and how to protect yourself from predators is key. I hope these blogs help you be more diligent.
I believe we should be kind. At the same time, being kind to predators aka narcissists means you’re allowing them to take advantage. Narcissists don’t come with horns. In fact they’re charming. But many of them, especially the ones with psychopathy traits, use that artificial charm to manipulate. From an abusive and harassing neighbor to someone you might go on a date with - we must be vigilant. Experience has shown me that we must be wise and act fast. God tells us to not give any room to the enemy.
On Bita Saviss Blog, you'll find a variety of content related to navigating life while you protect your peace. From recognizing who you’re interacting with and various personality disorders to knowing when and how to respond - my goal is to provide valuable information and inspiration for anyone looking to learn how to protect yourself and take action, small or big, as circumstances require.
I was trained in psychology by a high quality psychologist whose work and knowledge have been in documentaries. He taught me how to recognize various personality disorders, recognize abuse and how to respond. In addition, I’ve studied the work of other real experts in the field of psychologyfor over 10 years. These are true professionals whose work is backed up by science, research and studies. There is a lot of misinformation online. Make sure you learn from reliable sources.
Besides my education in business, experience has been the biggest teacher. Interacting with many people in business means learning about different personalities. The concept of predators, preys and sheep dogs very much comes into play in both personal and professional world.
We all need to take care of ourselves before we can take care of others. We recognize patterns of familiar people. That pattern can be abuse and because we are tolerant of it - we allow it. We need to recognize narcissistic abuse and stop it quickly. From gaslighting, manipulation, baiting, blame-shifting, stone-walling to projection and etc. - education and experience teach you how to set firm boundaries and protect yourself.
